AGITATION
"BE ANXIOUS FOR NOTHING, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, LET YOUR REQUESTS BE MADE KNOWN TO GOD.' "
Philippians 4:6 (NKJV)
• If you perceived or sensed that you had a call of God on your life, or you are stirred to do a particular thing in the Kingdom, do not allow agitation.
- If God is asking you to wait and not commence whatever you are intending or agitating to do yet; you would do well to wait.
- In most cases, when God says you should wait, It is either you are anxious, or an unusual agitation has set in. He knows If you should start the work, whatever you intended to do for Him at such a time, you would not ascribe the glory of whatever success or result gotten in it to Him.
- Thus, God would want you to wait until your strength is waned, when you are ready to surrender and say If you would not want me to go or do it, I will obey.
It is at the point of your weakness, when you no longer trust in your own ability, that God would ask you to go ahead and do the work (2 Corinthians 12:9,10). - God at times takes some people through a lot of severe breaking or crucifixion process; simply because they are too rigid and they are not bendable.
• When Moses perceived that he would be used to liberate his people, the Israelites (Acts 7:25); he wanted to use his physical strength and do it in his own way—he killed an Egyptian who was maltreating an Israelite thinking the matter was unknown but when he got to know that the news of it had spread and gotten to Pharaoh, he ran away, and became a fugitive (Acts 7:23-29).
- Moses was at the back of the desert for forty years (Acts 7:30). It was when he had lost his physical strength, ability and agitation, before God told him to step out to deliver his people (Exodus 3:1-10).
- When God told Moses to go for the assignment, he had no more courage and confidence in himself. In fact, he did not want to go and he was giving excuses, asking God to send another person (Exodus 3:10,11).
- God would consider to send you, when you have lost your human strength and ability—when you no longer trust in your own ability (Exodus 4:10-13).
• Whoever is agitating is not ready for whatever work God wanted him or her to do yet.
- You may have the ability or the knowhow about what you wanted to do, but God said you should wait and not proceed yet.
- In such a situation, God is expecting a change from you. He wanted to see your trusted strength or ability weakened. He would want you to see and acknowledge your inability before He would approve whatever you wanted or intended to do.
- What you wanted to do might be a good thing that would bless others, even the body of Christ as a whole. Yet, If your heart is not right, that is, If you have confidence in yourself, God would not approve it—because the glory would not be given or attributed to Him (1 Corinthians 1:29).
• It is not difficult for God to work through any believer but He would want to know the trustworthiness of the whoever He wanted to use.
- If God cannot trust you, He would not release you to go for the assignment. God releases those whom He trust.
- God can only trust you with money, power, fame, and whatever; If you are thoroughly broken.
- If some believers or ministers were trusted with power, money, fame or whatever; they would be lost completely. Thus, the release of these things would be determined by your level of maturity—growth in God.
- So, the reason for keeping you waiting is the agitation or the unsual quest to be used and get to be known. But God would not allow it until you prove to Him that you are responsible and able to handle or manage whatever is committed or entrusted to your hands (2 Corinthians 6:4).
• You will not fail in Jesus' name.
- Should there be any ailment in your body, receive your healing now in Jesus' name.
- The hold is completely broken and the affiction will not rise the second time in Jesus' mighty name.
Peace.
