WE DO NOT WAGE WAR AS THE WORLD DOES

3 FOR THOUGH WE LIVE IN THE WORLD, WE DO NOT WAGE WAR AS THE WORLD DOES.
4 The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.
2 Corinthians 10:3,4 (NIV)

3 FOR THROUGH WE WALK IN THE FLESH, WE DO NOT WAR ACCORDING TO THE FLESH.
4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal [of the flesh] but mighty in God for pulling down of strongholds.”
2 Corinthians 10:3,4 (NKJV)

Believers in Christ needed to understand the truth of the Bible.
Fighting for yourself with the arm of flesh, when you have challenges, cannot proffer solution to your predicament—it will rather complicate it:
“FOR WE DO NOT WRESTLE AGAINST FLESH AND BLOOD, BUT AGAINST PRINCIPALITIES, AGAINST POWERS, AGAINST THE RULERS OF THE DARKNESS OF THIS AGE, AGAINST SPIRITUAL HOST OF WICKEDNESS IN THE HEAVENLY PLACES” (Ephesians 6:12 NKJV).

If you are taught to fight your battles with the arm of flesh; know that what you are taught is not consistent with the Word of God:
7 “BE STRONG AND COURAGEOUS, DO NOT BE AFRAID NOR DISMAYED BEFORE THE KING OF ASSYRIA, nor before all the multitude that is with him; for there are more with us than with him. 8 “WITH HIM IS AN ARM OF FLESH; BUT WITH US IS THE LORD OUR GOD, TO HELP US AND TO FIGHT OUR BATTLES. AND THE PEOPLE WERE STRENGTHENED BY THE THE WORDS OF HEZEKIAH THE KING OF JUDAH.”
2 Chronicles 32:7,8 (NKJV).

Prayer and the Word of God are the weapons given by God to believers in Christ Jesus.
• Any battle you fight without God, not using God’s pattern, may be disastrous.
• Thus, learn to rely on God, wait on Him; no matter how painful the experience is, in whatever you are passing through.

May be you are saying in your heart that one needs to be violent.
Being violent should be in prayer, not in fist fight.
May the lord give you understanding.

Note:
Do believers need to fight for themselves?
They do not need to do that:
"DEAR FRIENDS, NEVER TAKE REVENGE. LEAVE THAT TO THE RIGHTEOUS ANGER OF GOD. FOR THE SCRIPTURES SAY, “I WILL TAKE REVENGE; I WILL PAY THEM BACK,” SAYS THE LORD" (Romans 12:19 NLT).

Peace!
