UNDERSTANDING THE PURPOSE OF CREATION [The book of Genesis]

"THEN GOD SAID, “LET US MAKE HUMAN BEINGS IN OUR IMAGE, TO BE LIKE US. THEY WILL REIGN OVER THE FISH IN THE SEA, the birds in the sky, the livestock, all the wild animals on the earth, and the small animals that scurry along the ground.”
Genesis 1:26 (NLT)

• Man, humans, was created in the image and likeness of God. In other words, Man, humans, has the attributes of God in him: "SO GOD CREATED MAN IN HIS OWN IMAGE; IN THE IMAGE OF GOD HE CREATED HIM; MALE AND FEMALE HE CREATED THEM" (Genesis 1:27 (NLT)

• God wanted Man to rule the earth planet. God gave a responsibility to Man after He created him. There is no freedom without a responsibility!
• God's original purpose of creating
  man is to be the master over the rest of His creations (Genesis 1:26).
• Man, both male and female, were patterned after God Himself. They were to have dominion over the earth (Genesis 1:27).
• They were to multiply and fill the earth and subdue it (Genesis 1:28). Thus they were blessed by God to be fruitful and multiply (Genesis 1:28).
• God gave them seed bearing plants and fruits for their food! While grasses and other green plants were given to the animals and birds for their food (Genesis 1:29,30).
• God was pleased with all He made, it was excellent in every way (Genesis 1:31).

• The application:

• Since Man, humans, was given the responsibility to multiply, fill the earth, and subdue it; that is, put it under control (Genesis 1:28). Consequently, God wants you and I to be in control.
• The devil came to deceive Man and collected the authority given to him—through deception (Genesis 3:1-7).
• However, Jesus came to give back to us, the authority lost through Adam (John 10:10). Thus, through the authority given by Christ Jesus, dominion is possible (Luke 10:19).
• God wants you to dominate, where you are. He wants you to put under control the activities of darkness. You are an extension of His Kingdom on the earth. BELIEVERS are the light of the world, you should let the light shine before men, humans (Matthew 5:14,16).
• What light does:
  a. Light dispels darkness. You are to dispel whatever may be the work of darkness wherever you may find yourself.
  b. Light gives directions. Through the light received from the knowledge of the Word of God, you get to know what to do, where to go, and how to get done whatever you discovered as God's Will or plan for your life.
  c. It also gives speed. Through the light, you received directions, and when you are sure and certain of where you are going, you cannot but have speed in your journey in fulfilling the vision or plan.

• Living passively is an aberration to God's purpose for your life. If you are not in control where you are, you are not fulfilling purpose.

• You are not meant to control humans, but other creations of God, in order to work in agreement with you in fulfilling His purpose for your life.
• You are also to exercise Authority or control over the powers of darkness that works in the life of the children of Disobedience that may want to stand on your way in fulfilling purpose (2 Corinthians 10:3-6; Ephesians 2:2).
• You bring thoughts that are not in agreement with God's Will or plan to the obedience of Christ Jesus (2 Corinthians 10:5). Both the thoughts that find their ways to your own mind through the activities of demons, or the thoughts from whoever is an instrument in the hand of the devil, to hinder or short-circuit what God had purposed you to fulfill.

• To be in control you have to:

• Be born-again (John 3:3-5). Accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour, renounce any agreement with the devil and his works (Romans 10:9,10; Acts 19:18,19).
• Read and study the Word of God daily and walk in line with the principles found in it—the Bible (Joshua 1:8; James 1:22-25).
• Pray without ceasing, and live a fasted life (Ephesians 6:18; 1 Thessalonians 5:17).
• Be flexible in your relationship with God, always allow Him to have His way in your life. This is also known as meekness or submissivenesses and commitment.
• Seek to discover His purpose for your life, what He wanted you to do—what you are created to do or sent to the planet earth to do.
• It is in the doing of what you are created to do, you become what you are created to be. Many seek to know what they are created to be, but fail to seek to know what they are created to do.

• When you live in line with the above mentioned steps, you would be in control—you will subdue the earth—as said in the Scripture.

• You will not fail in Jesus' name.

• Should there be any ailment in your body, receive your healing now in Jesus' name.
• Whatever is not created in your system, not planted by God, that is working against your health; such is cursed and completely uprooted in Jesus' name.

STEPS TO SALVATION
• Take notice of this:
IF you are yet to take the step of salvation, that is, yet to be born-again, do it now, tomorrow might be too late (2 Corinthians 6:1,2; Hebrews 3:7,8,15).
a. Acknowledge that you are a sinner and confess your Sins (1 John 1:9); And ask Jesus Christ to come into your life (Revelation 3:20).
b. Confess that you believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is Lord, and that you confess it with your mouth, Thus, you accept Him As your Lord and Saviour (Romans 10:9,10).
c. Ask that He will write your name in the Book of Life (Philippians 4:3; Revelation 3:8).

• If you took the steps As highlighted above, It means you are saved—born-again. Join a Word based church in your area and Town or city, and be part of whatever they are doing there. Peace!
