Spain is getting hit hard with the virus from what I understand. I guess it's when it finally hits it peak that people can start looking towards a decline. What each country considers their peak I have no idea, seems like it's been going on for weeks in Italy and you'd think they'd already met the peak with so many deaths. I guess you are blessed your mom could reach out to get you the apartment to save you from losing your dogs....and that there was one train engineer who had a bit of sympathy to let you on the train because one of your dogs reminded him of one of his dogs.
