RE: DTube Review

in DTube4 years ago

Hey first of all: Thank you for the video and for promoting dtube!
But sorry I need to correct you here and there a little bit:

  1. Peer-to-peer does not have restrictions on the resolution and length - it is the "file upload" option you are talking about. The quality, storage duration and so on depends on the storage you pick in the next step. A full showcase of the uploader and its possibilities would have been great.
  2. Also I can assure you that peer-to-peer videos are not performing better in terms of rewards. DTube has its manual curation and if you are active on a regular basis they will reward you no matter how you store your videos.
  3. ALL your uploads are going onto the avalon blockchain. You only are able to pick if you want to post on steem AND/OR hive. So you can make up to 3 different crypto rewards with one upload. After main-net of DTube you will have 3 tradeable tokens from one upload.
  4. DTC will be tradable in main-net on exchanges. So it has not just the promotion value - it will be a real crypto currency and you can read that in various publications of dtube.
  5. We have many more witnesses providing the consensus - only the block producing is limited to 10.

I hope I was able to give you more details on dtube and I hope you will be better prepared when showcasing 3speak (which I'm not a fan of :P)
PEACE!
