Good information .Thank you very much @sandeep126.I always wondered why tulsi does not grow in kashmir ,and you have provided the reason ,

. It needs to be water daily but avoid water everyday in winter season because its roots are very tender and soft which hardly bear the temperature less then 1*c .

Here in kashmir we have harsh winters and temperature goes way below 0°c.
