Travelling Via SHATABDI EXPRESS

Vande Bharat is the New Superfast Train launched by the Indian Railways. It is known for its Speed and the Interior, which they designed specifically for a top-class luxury experience. Still, the route this Train travels have weird dynamics with Time. You see Vande Bharat travels from NJP to Howrah and Vice Versa but on one end it has departure timings like 5:30 in the Morning and at the other end it has Arrival timings like 11 PM so boarding this train is hassle in its own way. So for today's Journey, I choose the SHATABDI EXPRESS which leaves my Station around 3 PM and reaches my Destination around 11 PM. Yes I know it is late but I was out of options so I had to go for it.

At the entrance, I was given Tea to start my Journey and that was really unexpected for me as I was under the impression that Services would start after the next Station was reached. Anyways it took another couple of hours to reach the next Station and then they served us Snacks.

As you can see there were a lot of things that were served as Snacks which included a Samosa, a Tea, couple of different snacks with a Sweet to finish things off. Truth be told this would have been ok but I had skipped lunch due to time constraints so I wanted something more and thankfully I got it.

I got it in the form of some Warm Tomato Soup which the staff of the Train was very very generous with as he offered me the Soup Multiple times which was also good for me as I am currently going through some Cough and Cold. It was really a blessing for my throat.

Since the train was going to arrive at my destination around Midnight they also served us Dinner which was given to us in the form of Rice, some dal, chicken curry, and some chapatis. They also gave us some Curd at the end and also Ice Cream which I obviously declined as I am under Cough and Cold.
All in all, I will say that the food and the service of the staff on the train were quite nice but sadly our train arrived almost an hour late which means I reached my destination just shy towards MIDNIGHT which means it took me another hour to reach my Home which was really tiring. I just wish that the timings of the train change a little as that will really help a lot of Dailly Commute Passengers who are indeed in Rush.
