My name is Blessing udoma, from West Africa,I am a Nigerian,I want to Tell you about my today activity.

With the goat I kill to prepare several food for guest.

I went to a friend traditional marriage in a tribe known as (okobo) in nigeria.In the tradition there is a custom to kill goat and used it to prepare food for the guest.see how I was actively involved in the marriage.

After cooking it is a tradition when men cook they will call woman to come and test it.

That is my wife testing the plantain I prepared.

After killing the goat I burn it hang it on a stake as you see in the picture here

After this process I have to wash it thoroughly and then begin to butcher it here is how I do it

What is kept on the ground is plantain leafs in an occasion as This ,it is traditional and mandatory that you used plantain leafs for butchering.

before the Discovery of the used of glass cup or shot a small an sizeable cup used to share drinks in occasions, Africans where using wooden cup,or cup made of animals Horn's .
Here is a cup made of goat horn, from the mariage goat and was used to share drinks .

This is me and the Horn's cup.

Though small but the cost of production is high, Due to the coast of goat in Nigeria.
To produce just two units of the horn cup will coast about 60 $ dollars.

OTHER USAGE.

The Horn cup save as a design when kept on a car front dashboard or in a sitting room, it add decorum to your bar as you showcase African American culture on it.
