Hello Friends!

How are you all doin' today?

If you have been to my recent blogs in Steem Skillshare, they are on Filipino foods and the process in preparing them, and this I'm writing now is already the third one. So, as for today, I got here my step-by-step procedure in preparing Chicken Barbecue. Well, this is just very quick to follow and easy to do.

Chicken Barbecue is one of the dry-heat Filipino dishes where the marinated Chicken pieces are grilled and smoked over hot coals.

Now, here's how it's done!

INGREDIENTS

Chicken pieces
Bell Pepper
Garlic
Onion
Lemon
Soda/Soft drink (Sprite)
Barbecue Marinating Mix
Salt and Pepper

PROCESS

1. Place the Chicken pieces in a cooking pot. Add the sliced spices - Garlic, Onion and Bell pepper, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Bring them to a boil.

2. Transfer the Chicken pieces to a bowl, and marinate. Pour the Barbecue marinating mix, add the soda and a squeeze of lemon. Coat the pieces evenly with the marinade. Marinate them in the refrigerator for atleast an hour.

3. Heat up your grill over the hot coal. Place the marinated Chicken pieces on the grill and cook. Baste them continuously with your marinade as you are grilling. Just keep them on a medium heat until completely cooked.

4. With the Chicken perfectly cooked, take the pieces off the grill and serve.

That's it in just a few simple steps! Why not try it at your home? Enjoy!

That would be all for now. Thank you so much for your time. I hope you have fun. Til next time!
