Contest: Show us your Parenting Skills
Our Parenting Skills
I am sharing my learning and experience with our children and what we have learned from our parenting practices. Below are our key learnings and these are the key point that we have implemented during parenting. I like to spend time with children and to play with them various games and quizzes.
If you talk about us, as a parent...
- We don't expect much. The closest compliment behavior to the goal we want.
- We never disagree with discipline in the presence of children.
- We agree on what is acceptable and not acceptable.
- We remember that our behavior serves as a pattern for our children.
- We never give an order, request, or order without being able to force it right away.
- We make it very clear about the undesirable behavior.
- We believe that both of us have an equal share in administering discipline as much as possible.
- We always be consistent, that is, reward or punish the same behavior in the same way as possible.
- We agree on how we will respond to unpleasant behavior.
- We try to set aside regular time to do something fun with our children.
- We make it clear as much as possible what the child expects when he or she behaves inappropriately.
- It's not enough to say, "Your room is a mess." Messy should be very specific about what it means: "You left dirty clothes on the floor, dirty plates on your desk, and your bed was not made."
- Once we have stated our position and that the child is attacking that position, we do not continue to defend ourselves. Just reposition the position and then stop responding to the attack.
- We look at the gradual change in behavior.
- If one of us guides the child and the other enters the room, the other person does not get into an ongoing argument.
- We reward the most desirable behavior possible by verbally praising, touching, or something tangible such as a toy, food, or money.

Children are innocent and we have to learn so much from them.
Children learns a lot from our habits. If we do good things they also will follow.
