ㅇㅇ - these two circles means yes. They are actually two korean letters that sound like "n"

ㅠㅠ - means sad, if you look at korean letters they look like two eyes with tears.

ㅋㅋㅋㅋ - is used when something is funny or someone said something funny.

ㅇㅋ, means "okay". This is funny combination of a letter that looks like english "o" and korean letter " ㅋ".

ㄱㅅ , means thank you 갑사합니다 is the long version but to type faster it was shorten to 2 letters.

ㅎㅇ - means hi, because in korean the English word hi is spelled like "하이"

ㅂㅂ- means bye bye

Korean New Year

Koreans same like Chinese celebrate korean new year!! This is the biggest holiday in korea. The tradition is that young people bow to elders and recieve red envelopes for gifts.
People gather together and eat a lot of special food. Normally, each family has special treats, but usually you will see a lot of fried vegetables in flour mixture.
You will see a lot of rice cakes and other delicious foods.
The kids have vacation from school so they have time to play traditional games and they dress normally korean dresses.
