Former Bangladesh cricketers Nafis and Razzak officially announced their retirement on Saturday
Abdur Razzak became the selector of the Bangladesh national team before he officially retired from his long playing career.
On the other hand, Shahriar Nafees is being appointed to a top post in an important department like the Cricket Operations Committee of the Bangladesh Board. All in all, the two are going to officially announce their retirement this time.
Abdur Razzak
Abdur Razzak born 15 June 1982. Abdur Razzak is a Bangladeshi former cricketer who played in all formats of the game. Razzak is the first Bangladeshi to take 200 wickets in ODIs. He is also the first left arm spinner and second spinner after Saqlain Mushtaq to take a hat-trick. Abdur Razzak has played 13 Tests, 153 ODIs and 34 T20I matches for the Bangladesh national team. Abdur Razzak has taken 28 wickets in 13 Test matches. He took 207 wickets for 153 ODI matches and 44 wickets for 34 T20 matches.
Abdur Razzak made his Test debut on 16 April 2006 against Australia. And last played an Test match on 8 February 2018 against Sri Lanka.
Abdur Razzak played his first ODI match on 16 July 2004 against Hong Kong. And last played a ODI match on 25 August 2014 against West Indies.
Abdur Razzak played his first T20 match on 28 November 2006 against Zimbabwe. And last played a T20 match on 27 August 2014 against West Indies.
Shahriar Nafees
Shahriar Nafees born 1 May 1985. Shahriar Nafees is a former Bangladeshi cricketer. Shahriar Nafees has played 24 Tests, 75 ODIs matches for the Bangladesh national team. Shahriar Nafees has scored 1267 runs in 24 Test matches. Has scored 2201 runs instead of 75 Odi match.
Shahriar Nafees made his Test debut on 12 September 2005 against Sri Lanka. And last played an Test match on 17 April 2013 against Zimbabwe.
Shahriar Nafees played his first ODI match on 21 June 2005 against England. And last played a ODI match on 6 December 2011 against Pakistan.
