Hell everyone and good day to you all, today, I will be participating in this top 5 Meals I Ate Within the Week contest. The entries I have seen so far has made me salivate a whole lot and right,I will also be sharing mine.

Top 5 Meals

Meal 1

Rice with beans

This is rice with beans, prepared separately, I had to first of all prepare the Jollof rice before preparing the beans, the entire process took me about 3 hours to finish up since I was preparing it all by myself. I took it as Breakfast. It is a actually a good source of carbohydrate and protein.

Ingredients

• Rice

• Beans

• Seasonings

• Salt

• Pepper

• Palm Oil

• Crayfish(for the rice)

• Water

The last time I ate rice with beans at a restaurant, it was about 400 naira which is equivalent to about 1.33 steem, it's not that costly anyway.

Pap With Bread And Meatpie

This is pap with bread and meat pie, I never baked the bread nor the Meatpie, but then I made the pap, I made it out of corn flour, believe me,you will just need this combo for breakfast. A good source of carbohydrate. Preparing the pap took me just 10 minutes.

Ingredients

• Bread

• Meatpie

• Corn Flour

• Sugar

• Milk

• Water

I bought both the bread and meat pie at an eatery and the both cost 1050 naira which is equivalent to 3.51 steem. Then depending on where you get a plate of pap, the quality I made here could go for a sum of 300 naira which is equivalent to 1.00 steem.

Afang Soup with garri

This is Afang soup with garri, making this particular meal took me roughly 2 hours and some minutes. It is taken as lunch, infact i do like taking this heavy meal during the day. A major source of carbohydrate.

Ingredients

• Afang Leaf

• Salt

• Water leaf

• Seasoning

• Cow Skin (kpomo)

• Beef

• Crayfish

• Stock Fish

• Perewinkle

• Water

• Garri

This cost me about 4500 naira equivalent to 15.04 steem to prepare this delicious soup. Getting a plate of this will cost one 800 naira which is equivalent to 2.6 steem.

This is a smoothie, it comprises of different fruits and nuts grinded together. Infact I will recommend this to anyone watching his or her weight. A major source of vitamin. It took me about 30 minutes to finish it preparation, it could be taken as dinner or supplements.

• Paw Paw

• Tiger nut

• Date

Everything I bought summed up to 1500 naira which is equivalent to 5.01 steem. The current price of smoothie per cup is 1800 naira which is equivalent to 6.01 steem.

Meal 5

Milk with Meatpie and fried potato

I never prepared any of these, I bought them, so, everything there cost 1800 naira which is equivalent to 6.01 steem. I took it as Dinner, it is more advisable to take it in the night. A good source of protein, carbohydrate and fat.

• Meatpie

• Fried Potato

• Nutri milk

Getting A full pan as this will cost one a 1800 naira 6.01. though I would love to bake one-day,till then, let me keep my peace.
