Contest: What your thinking about steemit platform?
Introduction
Hello everyone, am happy to be able to post my entry today, this contest is very nice one and it reminds me of my first journey in steemit. I thank @joynalabedin for organizing this great contest.
How did you discover Steemit?
I discovered steemit through my friend @smartlouis, he's a blogger here in steemit and his elder brother @saintkelvin17 is always assisting him. Louis told me about a platform he just joined last year and he's benefiting from it in so many ways, I was so curious about the platform and I told him to tell me more about it.
Louis told me all he knows and took me to his elder brother who told me more other things about steemit. Few days later I successfully posted my achievement 1 post after signing up.
What motivated you to start creating content on the platform?
The amazing upvotes and comments motivated me to start creating content in steemit. I saw how a particular admin in a community posted an amazing quality post and got a very nice vote from steemcurator01. The post was so neat and had nice markdowns and legit links to source of pictures.
What challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?
The challenges I faced in steemit occured in my earliest days in steemit when it took more than one week for my achievement 3 post to get verified by the greeters in newcomers community and I wasn't happy at all, I mentioned few greeters in the comment section and it took long time for them to reply. When they finally replied, I made all the necessary corrections they asked me to make before I got verified after some days.
What successes have you had on Steemit? (such as earning Steem, gaining followers, or making connections)
The only huge success have achieved on steemit was when I received a catch upvote for my achievement 1 post in my achievement 2 post from steemcurator01. I was so excited and happy, this made me to love steemit the more and I decided remain consistent on this platform and achieve my goals on time.
How has Steemit impacted your life? (personally, professionally, or financially)
Steemit has impacted my life both financially, academically, personally and socially. I have learnt alot of things in steemit and am so happy for that, I learnt few things about foreigner's who are bloggers, country. Have also learnt few things about crypto and the market world. I have been able to make money on my own at a younger age like this.
What advice would you give to someone who is new to Steemit?
The only advice I have to go to someone who's new to steemit is;
- Never get angry with the platform system.
- Always be patient.
- Remain consistent.
- Never plagiarize.
- Always power up.
- Participate in contests often and so many others.
Conclusion
The steemit platform is a home for people who are passionate about learning, people with a good level of education, an illiterate can't survive in steemit. It takes alot of things to be a steemian. Thanks for reading.
