এবং এই কেনা-কাটা এবং লেন-দেনের প্রক্রিয়াকে এগিয়ে নিয়ে যাওয়ার জন্য আমাদের প্রয়োজন হয় মুদ্রার (Currency)

মুদ্রার মাধ্যমে আমরা যেকোন জিনিস ক্রয় করে নিজের করে নিতে পারি।

এবং এক্ষেত্রে, প্রত্যেক দেশের নিজের আলাদা আলাদা মুদ্রা (Cryptocurrency) অবশ্যই রয়েছে।

যেমন, ইন্ডিয়াতে রয়েছে "(Indian rupee)"
আমেরিকাতে রয়েছে "(United States dollar)"
বাংলাদেশের রয়েছে "(Bangladeshi taka BDT)"
ইত্যাদি।

আর এই ধরনের মুদ্রা গুলোকে আমরা চোখে দেখতে পারি, স্পর্শ করতে পারি এবং এর নিয়ম অনুযায়ী আমরা হাট-বাজারে ব্যবহার করে থাকি।

তবে, Cryptocurrency হলো এমন এক ধরনের মুদ্রা যেটা সাধারণ মুদ্রার সম্পূর্ণ বিপরীত।

কারণ এটি হলো একটি ডিজিটাল মুদ্রা (digital currency) যেটা আপনি চোখে দেখতে পারবেন না এবং স্পর্শ করতে পারবেন না।
কেননা, Cryptocurrency কোন ভৌতিক আকার বা আকৃতি নেই।

প্রায়ই কিছু বছর আগে থেকেই এ ধরনের Cryptocurrency বা Digital Currency গুলোর চাহিদা প্রচুর পরিমাণ বৃদ্ধি পেয়েছে।

এখন হয়তো আপনারা Cryptocurrency কি বিষয়টি কিছু হলেও বুঝতে পেরেছেন।

Cryptocurrency কাকে বলে:-

চলুন Cryptocurrency কাকে বলে বিষয়টি আরো একটু স্পষ্ট ভাবে জেনে আসি।

আসলে, Cryptocurrency হলো এমন এক ধরনের মুদ্রা যেগুলোকে কেবল Online Internet এর মাধ্যমে ব্যবহার ও লেন-দেন করা সম্ভব।

আর তাই এধরনের Crypto মুদ্রা গুলোকে digital money হিসেবে ধরা হয়।

আর যা আমি আগেই বললাম, এ ধরনের ডিজিটাল মুদ্রা গুলোকে আমরা physically দেখতে বা ধরতে পারিনা।

মনে রাখবেন, Cryptocurrency গুলোর উপরে government এর কোন ধরনের ভূমিকা থাকছে না।

কারন এ ধরনের currency গুল Decentralized currency বলা হয় সেগুলোর উপর কোন agency বা government এর board এর অধিকার থাকেনা।

Cryptocurrency গুলোকে আপনি আপনার digital asset হিসেবেও ধরতে পারবেন। যেগুলোর ব্যবহার করে আপনি অনলাইন কেনা-কাটা শপং ইত্যাদি করা সম্ভব।

Shopping করা ছাড়াও আপনারা এই Cryptocurrency গুলোকে বিভিন্ন services জন্য ব্যবহার করতে পারবেন।

মনে রাখবেন, এ ধরনের Currency গুলোতে Cryptographic প্রযুক্তি ব্যবহার হয়ে থাকে।

এটি মূলত একটি Peer to Peer Network system যেটির ব্যবহার আমরা মূলত ইন্টারনেটের মাধ্যমে সাধারণ মুদ্রার বিপরীতে কেনাকাটা করার ক্ষেত্রে ব্যবহার করে থাকি।

এ ধরনের currency গুলোর ব্যবহার government বা bankকে না জানিয়েও করা যেতে পারে।

তাই অনেকে বলে থাকেন যে Cryptocurrency গুলোর ব্যবহার অবৈধভাবেও করা সম্ভব।

বর্তমানে অনলাইনে এমন অনেক প্ল্যাটফর্ম রয়েছে যেগুলো থেকেও যে কেউ Cryptocurrency থেকে কেনা-বেচা করে থাকেন।

প্রত্যেক ধরনের Cryptocurrency গুলোর মধ্যে সবথেকে জনপ্রিয় এবং প্রচলিত মুদ্রা হলো "Bitcoin"

সবথেকে প্রথমেই এটাকে তৈরি করা হয়েছিল এবং সব থেকে অধিক ব্যবহার হয়েছিল এই "Bitcoin"

Bitcoin Cryptocurrency নিয়ে এমনিতেই প্রচুর তর্ক-বিতর্ক হয়েই এসেছে।

তবে বর্তমানে Cryptocurrency গুলোর মধ্যে Bitcoin এর ব্যবহার অনেক প্রসিদ্ধ এবং এটি অধিক ব্যবহার হয়ে থাকে।

এমনিতেই Bitcoin ছাড়াও এমন অনেক Cryptocurrency গুলো রয়েছে যেগুলোর বিষয়ে হয়তো আপনি জানেন বা জানেননা
