Try using https://peakd.com/ to make your posts. That is the Steempeak version of the front end for Hive. Also, the differences with the payouts between the two chains is because of the reward pools. On Steemit, there are a lot more people using the reward pool and voting so the funds are distributed more between everyone, whereas on Hive right now those votes aren't as spread out yet. As we get more people on Hive voting and powering up, those numbers should balance out a bit more.
