Steemit to Hive, I know nothing much will change except for the name, but still when you are associated with something very strongly it is not very easy to just abandon it. Life is all about continuous change and if we do not except the change sometimes it can hamper our own progress. If the very purpose of the platform is defeated then it does not make much sense to cling on to it. I have been quite neutral in my thoughts and not forming any opinion on anyone's behavior. But the question. Why am I here? stays, I am here because I enjoy No censorship model, I enjoy Freedom of expression and speech, I enjoy networking without any politics, I enjoy when everyone is in consensus with each other. So if all these are not to be found anymore on Steem then what is in there for me?

Though I may not quit Steem completely I will parallely post my relevant content, but I may not have the same zeal for it.
I will be supporting Hive with the same rigor that I have been doing it for Steem. Powering down is still not on my mind so let's see. I am not taking any immediate actions on my wallet. That part of it, I will take some time to asses and then decide. I started and continued with Steem with a lot of aspirations and had set some life long goals over it. But now everything seems a bit shaken up. Not sure about that part of it now, where it will lead to, If I will be able to achieve my goals with Hive. It's new it will take time to stabilize. Fingers crossed for now and let's hope for the best.

Overall I want to feel charged up and excited but I guess the energy around is very draining, along with my own personal issues on family front, the Coronavirus stress and now this change, I feel like it is too much happening to all digest it at the same time. But somewhere I know this is all temporary and it's all going to settle down with new hopes and new visions.

With that I wholeheartedly Welcome Hive and it's still not a complete good bye from me on Steem.
Whatever be the situation, but I will still want to give good energy to Steem as for the past 2.8 years it has been supporting me in so many ways, I do not want to put it down in any way. Rather I would want to be very grateful to bring some wonderful things in my life and giving me that power to set some real hard goals.
