The presence of rats is not only a cause of trouble.
Using a Mouse Trap
This is the oldest and most popular method. There are many types of mousetraps available, including caged or spring-loaded ones. Place a piece of bread, biscuit, or peanut butter inside the cage. The smell of food attracts the mice, and the door closes once they enter. If the mouse is very small or clever, a glue pad is a good option. This is a sticky board that sticks to the mouse as soon as it steps on it. However, this method is considered a bit harsh, so use it only when other methods fail. Peppermint: Mice dislike the smell of mint. Dip a cotton ball in peppermint oil and place it in their hiding places. Sprinkling red chili powder on mouse paths will deter them. It's better to prevent mice from entering the house than to catch them. Seal cracks in corners and under doors with cement or iron mesh. Always keep food covered or in steel containers. Pay special attention to cleanliness in the house.
