This is an excellent home water filter cartridge, this is the Katadyn Gravidyn. It is a gravity drip ceramic filter, with Silver and charcoal and filters 99% of the bacteria out of your water.
I took two food grade 5 gallon buckets, and stacked them on top of each other. Then I drilled a hole through the bottom of the top bucket, and down through the lid of the bucket below. The filter is threaded on the bottom for a washer and a nut that you add. Then you add a spigot on the bottom bucket, and you have a gravity drip " Big Berkey " water filter.
Just clean the filter and the cartridge once a month and they say to replace in six month's.....
Hey @silvertop! I think all kitties should have water filtered through your system. We are sensitive too and want pure water to drink!
