These are but a few of the Eisenia fetida populating our compost piles. Having never thought much of them until about 2 years ago, I have since discovered how efficient they are at turning our refuse into quality fertilizer, at building soil and overall being highly beneficial to the whole environment. So now I feel like selling, or giving away - to the deserving poor - some of them. So if you are in the greater Providence area - feel free to reach out, and you too may be on your way to the wonders of vermiculture!

Sort:

They are the best friend of farmers.

Черви хорошо на огороде рыхлят почву. Но кроты поедают червей. На червей хорошо ловить рыбу. Хорошего урожая!!!

Sadly I am not in your area :)

Я с вами согласен красные черви очень полезны. Они рыхлят у меня на даче землю. К растениям подходит кислород и они начинают лучше расти. Земля становится рыхлой.

Congratz, your post has been resteemed and, who knows, will maybe appear in the next edition of the #dailyspotlights (Click on my face if you want to know more about me...)

Perfect picture. I saw a person catching fish by these at the time.

Nice wigglers!

They are great as fishing baits. Here in my village, people only use them as bait. :)

Dear sir, what are these? I have never seen these before.

I think they are pretty much everywhere.

These are common earth worms:
