Jam from watermelon leftovers!
Hello everyone I think many of us love watermelons but we dont use this great fruit to the fullest.
Say no to leftovers ;) Make leftovers Great again!
So how to make this into jam?
We need :
Watermelon leftovers- 1 Kilo
Sugar - 1 Kilo
Half of lemon .
If you have more/less leftovers just use same proportions.
So first we need to take off green peel from our watermelon crusts. ( here im not sure about English meaning so i will just give photo )
We will need this white cubes not green peel.
Second : Cut all to cubes (white/red cubes) , they must be around same size.
Third: Add sugar to cubes and your lemon. Stir all and leave for 1-1 and half hour.
Fourth: Put all into a saucepan (pot ) along with all juice and heat for hour . If there is not enough juice just add some water so it will not burn.
Fifth: Then our watermelon crusts are transparent then they are ready. Let them cooldown some time and add to a blender /mixer.
Final step: add our jam into pre-sterilized jars and seal it tightly.
