I am finally raising most of my own food, something I wanted to know how to do since my late 20's. I did not dream of a homestead, but of having my own stable. I did that for many years, until I was too ill to continue. So I let that dream go.

Now my raison d'etre is learning as much about raising organic nutrient dense food from healthy balanced soil as I can. And then passing on what I've learned to others so they may have the best life possible also.

There are a lot of associated components to working a homestead farm, like observing wildlife, observing how nature works, raising animals in as natural a way as they were meant to live, etc.

Every day is a new learning experience...
