First Homestead Photography Contest

Hello, everyone I have been thinking about this for some time now and wondered if it would work. There are a lot of different contests that require one to take photographs, but there have not been that many here in the homesteading/gardening community. Recently, there have been some great contests and giveaways and I think that if we can add some more it will help our community grow.

The idea is to offer a photography contest that will take different aspects or themes of homesteading, gardening, outdoors, etc. One does not have to be homesteading or gardening to enter, but most will try to incorporate some aspect of it. It will be a weeklong event and the winner will get 50% of the post payout and runner-up will get 25% of the post payout. After the post payout, I will look through all the entries and select our winners.

The requirements to enter are:

It has to be an original photo

Be related to the theme of the contest

Upvote this post (and not required, but a resteem would be appreciated)

My hopes are that we can get a big response and that this can become a continued weekly thing. So, for the first week, the theme will be Animals. This can be any animal that you currently have or would see around on a farm/homestead.
