Not much going on around the homestead this week I suppose. Like I said, Melissa has been working her consignment sale stuff, so I've been tired.

We had a cold snap overnight into Wednesday morning, but all of our plants here seem fine. The forecast was 36°F for us here, so I didn't worry about covering things. I checked when I got home and the sprouting squash was fine, the corn was fine, and the tomatoes looked fine too.

The pigs have been asleep in the mornings when I get home, huddled up together in some straw bedding. It's cute, and the signs of their overnight work is apparent every morning. They're very busy boys.

I stayed up late yesterday morning to talk with Melissa. I've been having trouble defining myself lately, and our talk stemmed from that and some recent ideas I've been developing. Relationship with language is important to such discussions, and pulling some terms away from the modern cultural climate is important. I won't expound right here and now because this isn't the time or place to do so. I may never put it on chain, because some things don't belong here.

Anyways. It's stupid late to be posting, so hours later than usual, so I'm just gonna wrap it up with a couple hundred words for today.

Love from Texas

Nate 💚

Ah yes, baby bunnies... :-)

There's a lot of them here right now. Or around 30-35, but I haven't counted the new nest so that's just a guess.
