Happy 2nd Steem Anniversary! I am glad we met here. You sure have many years of experience with chickens and I am so sorry to hear that you had Lyme disease. I too had it and I am in remission now. Love the photos and looking forward to your posts of life on your farm. : )
I am glad you were able to be treated soon enough for remission! It's nothing to mess about with. My husband came home from the library with a new Lyme book Bitten about Lyme disease. I've just started it, so don't know yet how good it will be. The author and her husband have had Lyme so that's what got her started.
I was lucky because I felt the painful bite and kept the tick. I got the red bullseye and went straight to the ER. I was put on the special antibiotics right away. They tested the tick and a day later they told me that the reason it was so painful when it bit me was because it was loaded with diseases. I sure hope that the new book helps you.
