I was lucky because I felt the painful bite and kept the tick. I got the red bullseye and went straight to the ER. I was put on the special antibiotics right away. They tested the tick and a day later they told me that the reason it was so painful when it bit me was because it was loaded with diseases. I sure hope that the new book helps you.
