Oh good!! Be sure to document the process of either butchering or selling to auction if you can! I’d be interested in reading it! And your process of introducing to the flock! :)
Probably auctioning. The husband doesn't think butchering the young roosters would be worth the trouble. Instead someone who needs a rooster in their flock can just buy them at the auction...or they can buy and butcher them themselves. We just aren't prepared to mess with it.
I get that. But do share the process! We don't have auctions out here for chickens. It's too bad, but, I would love to see!
