The smell of blood, indigo ability, and other mysteries that have not been yet will be the adventure of Risa in the movie Danur 2: Maddah.

Risa (Prilly Latuconsina) is told to be alone with her sister Riri (Sandrina Michelle) and travel to their other family home in Bandung.

Om Ahmad (Bucek) Tante Tina (Sophia Latjuba) and Angki (Shawn Adrian) are part of the Risa family who chose to live in an old house in Bandung.

At first Risa did not feel anything strange with her own presence at home Om and her aunt. However, slowly Risa met with things full of mystery.

Together with his ghost friends Peter (Gamaharitz), William (Alexander Bain) and Jhansen (Kevin Bzezovski), Hans and Hendrick Risa increasingly curious about the atmosphere in the house.

Risa sees strange things from Ahmad. Quiet, not talkative, but always perform special rituals around the house. Not to mention Risa saw Ahmad met the figure of a woman he did not know.

The atmosphere grew tense when Risa met a mysterious ghost figure. Risa who can see the supernatural things of course not surprised by this. But that makes Risa curious, why this ghost figure trying to keep menggagunya.

Then, if Risa can get through all this? The adventure of Risa as an Indigo child will still continue in the movie Danur 2: Maddah, and of course with the ghost friends who always give her warning to Risa.

As you already know the movie Danur 2: Maddah is a continuation of the Danur movie released in 2017 ago.

The presumption that a sequel movie will not be as good as the first film try countered by the director Awi Suryadi. Awi tries to appear more bold and slightly different than the first Danur movie.

Through this movie Awi displays scene images with a nice background though for the horror movie. Even Awi looks more "wild" by playing some shots that dibilan quite extreme.

If you expect a lot of dialogue in this movie, be prepared to wait for a few surprises. This is because Danur 2: Maddah wants to show the film in a quiet atmosphere, combined with the thrilling music of scoring.

Not to mention the Jumpscare shown in this movie and always make the heart of the audience pounding waiting for the next scenes in the movie.

The shift between scenes and scenes is pretty neat, and if put together into one whole piece of a horror movie, Danur 2: Maddah looks more horrible.

Prilly still looks pretty good, but the figure of Bucek who plays Ahmad deserves appreciation. Bucek's flat expression as a mysterious person is quite appropriate for a horror movie.
