What Happens When You Walk Alone at Midnight

You are walking alone on a quiet road late at night. The streetlights flicker, and the wind whispers through the empty trees. Your footsteps echo in the silence, making your heart beat a little faster. Suddenly, you feel like someone is behind you.
You stop.
The sound of footsteps stops too.
You look back, but the road is empty. Just darkness and a cold wind. You try to calm yourself and start walking again. This time, the footsteps return—slow, heavy, and very close.
Your mind tells you not to turn around.
But curiosity wins.
You slowly look back again… and see a shadow moving between the streetlights. It doesn't look human. It stretches and bends in strange ways, as if it is watching you.
Your phone suddenly loses signal. The streetlight above you turns off, leaving you in complete darkness.
Now the footsteps are right behind you.
You can feel cold air on your neck.
A whisper reaches your ear.
“You shouldn't walk alone at midnight.”
You run as fast as you can without looking back. When you finally reach home and lock the door, you feel safe… until you hear the same whisper again from inside your room.
