There's no doubting the fact that Facebook has become an almost-indispensable part of majority of our lives (and now steemit is becoming one). We can't even think of living without it, yet there are times when we log in and find plenty of annoying and useless posts waiting in our News Feed.
But then, it is very much possible to filter out these posts.

While some of you may already know about it, here's a step-by-step guide on how you can fine-tune your Facebook News Feed to only show the content that you're interested in.
Considering that most of the users access Facebook via their smartphones, this guide is based on Facebook's mobile app:
Step 1: Open the Facebook app
Step 2: Tap on the Hamburger icon
Step 3. Scroll down to 'Settings'
Step 4. Tap on 'News Feed Preference' option.
You'll now be taken to a page which will have a list of options, including those to prioritize who you see first, unfollow people to hide their posts, reconnect with people you've unfollowed and discover pages that match your interests.
All four options work in the same way. For instance, if you tap on 'Prioritize who you see first', you'll see a list of people from your friend list as well as pages that you like.
You can tap on them to mark them as a person or page that you would want to see on priority, thus ensuring that you see their posts first.
