Electric Fan

I just woke up to the sound of my electric fan’s rotating blades. The room is empty, humid and gloomy. I reached out for my cigarette, filled my lungs with smoke to comfort my confusion. Another day has begun and the sound of the fan’s blades would always be a constant reminder that I have to pay my electricity bills.
