Riding the waves with Irma.

Hi Steemit friend's, while I was concerned for @coquiunlimited and my family in the Caribbean, hurricane Irma decided to give US AN UNWELCOMED VISIT too (this is the kind of visitor I never want coming around!).

Installing the heavy hellish thing on my windows.

I was needing help with my electrolytes it was hot as hell, and tiring while waiting for my bud Chad to come over and help me install these heavy things to place over all my homes' window's.

While my windows may be protected I am currently concerned if my homes roof will survive heavy winds and that much rain.

Meanwhile.... we ride this storm...
my brother J.R. drinks loads of coffee to keep him awake while working late shift at a hospital while all this drama unfolds around his family...
my brother Eli stuffs his face nervously...

my Mother eats and eats (how she remains so thin who knows!), what's with this nervous habit?...

my nephew eats a tub of ice cream...

My sister-in-law is ready for the heavy rain....

and I take a selfie while the electricity comes and goes. I ride the storm with Storm (my dog). 😅
