The self vote is a leftover from FB. On FB you are supposed to self vote, ASAP. If your stuff is not good enough for you to like, why should anyone else like it?
That may be why it is so offensive here, I have noticed that Steemit is biased just a little bit against FB, ROFLOL!
Making it easier to join would be nice! Only about 25% of the people I get to try to sign up for steem, actually make it work. So easier would be better!

sir smithlabs, did you find out anything? I heard more, they will still have the rep number but it will be more fairly attained, like using lots of bots and things won't count.
Sorry, sick puppy, been pretty busy. I have heard nothing, but I think the bots are of very little service on Steemit. Limiting them will improve the platform a lot, so that sounds good to me.

Lilly has a bad tooth, working on getting her in To see the Vet.

She is scheduled for dental surgery next Wednesday. In the mean time, antibiotics for a week. She managed to get the bad tooth out by herself, they are one tough little puppy!

They have to knock a dog out to work on their teeth, and she has one loose tooth for sure. He said she used her paw to scratch it out. They are tough little puppies! So another $350 and she will be fine.
