Hunting in Surinam

I really think Surinam is a beautiful country,my parents are born there so i wanted to see how life is there.
Surinam was a colony from Holland and i can speak my own language,
but then at the other side of the world how nice is that!

This is in Paramaribo

I slept at my family's place, im Hindu and when I was in Surinam there was a national holiday called Holi (The good defeats evil) In whole Surinam they throw with powder. This is me with my niece and nephwew

A couple of days later I really really want to do this, Hunting (it was the session so it was allowed)
We went to the Jungle it was a long sit about six hours in a car with 33 degrees outside But it was worth it.
I never went to the jungle and i was excited and to be honest also a little bit scared haha..
This is the house were we slept in with six men, it was really basic but everything what you need was in there.

We where there for a couple of days, I always thought hunting is easy but believe me people for a noob like me it is hard!!
after a whole day sitting and waiting I finally had a catch ( I dont know the English name for the bird)
Offcourse we had to eat the bird

The nature is really nice the peace that you can find in the jungle is lovely, here in Europe everything goes fast and its always in a hurry, i found a other side of me that was chilled down

We had built a place in the jungle where we sit down and wait for the animals to come, in the evening we went to the spot that we had built, what I heard there is better then every song that I know... we heard a lot of animals and it was so relax for your mind state, just beautiful.. nature sounds of birds, insects,frogs and many more animals.(we didn't catch anything)

I could talk about it for hours but i hope that i have give you guys a impression of my hunting trip in Surinam
