I just checked on Windy.com and it looks as if hurricane Maria is pummeling Puerto Rico as I'm doing this post.

Maria is currently classified as a category four hurricane, this coming a mere days after hurricane Irma's eye nearly missed the island nation. It seems like Puerto Rico can't catch a break. My thoughts go out to all of those affected. I just learned that 7 were killed in Dominica due to Maria.

This hurricane season has been called the worst in many years and it's only half over! Please fortify your homes, board up windows and get to as safe of a place as possible with your loved ones before these things get to you.
