Introduction

The blockchain and Cryptocurrencies were invented 10 years ago. This kickstarted the decentralized era with bitcoin providing a brand new way in which people can exchange monetary values in a trustless system without any government interference.

The blockchain technology has since evolved with a series of applications in different sectors from finance, retail, technology, and different other sectors. Blockchain adoption is already being used to provide solutions to real life problems.

In this article, I will be Introducing a new decentralized platform that is aimed at improving commerce through the combination of IOT (Internet Of things) and the blockchain technology.

What Is Athero?

Athero is a decentralized blockchain based infrastructure that has been created to create real-life solutions to different problems or limitations of businesses. Athero will achieve this by creating a virtual business-to-business network based on the blockchain and using a distributed operator system.

Athero is a leap forward from the numerous other blockchain projects that are currently existing in the decentralized digital economy.

This will, however, be done through a network of smart contracts and IOT sensors and using the blockchain as the base infrastructure.

There are genuine concerns and one in which Athero provides solutions to. Utilizing the blockchain and its cryptographic encryption technology, athero is able to integrate together IOT devices and the blockchain to create a smart and secure network of IoT devices for application to providing solutions for real-life problems.
