QuarkChain: A New Age of Scalability & Security

This blockchain utilizes a second layer, The Root Layer, which serves to confirm all blocks from the sharded chain; this layer does not process the transactions. This layer serves to checksum all blocks and thereby adds an added layer of security; a factor of imperative importance when dealing with transactions.

QuarkChain is introducing a concept of node clustering. A cluster is a collection of nodes grouped together to function as if a supernode. Typically, the functionality of a supernode is properly achievable by using supercomputers, but QuarkChain’s cluster proposal makes it feasible to bypass the needs of supercomputers. The achievement here is that everyday people have a genuine opportunity to add value to the system (by mining).
