1. 암호화폐가 단순 차익실현 수단이 아니라, 실생활로 녹아들거란 기대  

The expectation that cryptocurrency will melt into real life, not just to make a profit

본인이 2017년 4월 암호화폐에 첫 투자를 할 때부터 자주 접했던 질문: 나중에 튤립버블처럼 끝나지 않을까요? 정말로 암호화폐가 실생활에서 쓰이는 날이 올까요? 당시, 흔히 말하던 코린이던 나는 이 질문에 답하지 못했다. 고작 Ico할 때도 자주 네트워크가 터지고 수수료가 폭등하는 이더리움을 지켜봤기 때문이다. 심지어 이더리움은 모든 플랫폼 중 왕으로 꼽히는데 다른 플랫폼들은 오죽할까? 이더리움을 기반으로 돌아가는 토큰들만 800 여개에 달하는데, 이들이 개발이 완료되면 네트워크가 토큰들의 처리용량을 전부 수용할 수 있을까? 그러던 중 알게 된게 아이젝. 탈중앙화된 클라우드 컴퓨팅이라는 난해한 슬로건을 걸고 등장해 솔직히 첫 만남부터 와닿진 않았다. 백서를 읽고 또 읽고 공부하던 끝에 드디어 저런 의문에 답할 수 있게 됐다. 이더리움이 실제로 쓰이는 날이 올까요? 네

Question that I've heard a lot since my first investment in cryptocurrency in April 2017 : Will it end like a tulip bubble later? Do you really think the day comes when cryptocurrency is used in real life? At the time, I could not answer this question, I was just crypto-kid then. (Koreans call the people who don't have much experience in crypto-trading as crypto-kid). Because I have seen Ethereum networks exploded frequently and fees were soaring even when the famous ico is held. Even this Ethereum is called as the king of all platforms, then it is obvious that other platforms going. There are about 800 tokens that are based on Ethereum, and when they are launched, will the network be able to handle them all?

 I got to know iExec in that period. iExec came up with the slogan of ` Decentralized Cloud Computing `, which did not, frankly, impressive because of abstruse wording. After reading the white paper over and over again and studying it, I was finally able to answer that question. Will the day comes when cryptocurrency can actually used? Yes

It was the coin that was created for this purpose. Coins that provide the processing capacity(CPUs, GPU) to the dapps . When the individuals don't use their computers, they rent out compute power (CPU, GPU) to the dapps. Then, dapp developers can solve the insufficient coumpute power problem of dapps.

 

댑이 뭐에요? : Dapp은 탈중앙화된 어플의 줄임말입니다. 이더리움은 그 자체로 쓰이기 위한게 아니라 dapp들을 구동하기 위한 플랫폼입니다. 스마트폰 기기: 이더리움, Dapp: 스마트폰 어플(게임, 메일, 웹툰 등등)으로 비유할 수 있을 것 같네요.

What's Dapps?: Dapp is the abstraction words of Decentralized applications. Ethereum is not a platform to operate itself, but a platform to operate a variety of dapps . For example, you can think of Smart phone Device as Ethereum, and Dapps as application of smartphone(game, mail, webtoon and so on). You can't  play the latest games without problem by old smartphone. 

정리하자면, 이더리움을 포함한 플랫폼들이 실생활에 쓰이려면 네트워크에 과부하가 생기지 않고 유지되어야 한다--> 그러려면 댑들이 요구하는 컴퓨팅파워를 충족시킬 수 있어야 한다.
즉 아이젝의 가치를 부정한다는 건, 암호화폐가 실생활에 쓰일 수 있다는 전제를 깨버리는 셈이었다. 필자가 아이젝에 투자를 결심한 가장 큰 이유다.
근데 저 말을 어떻게 믿을까? 말이야 그럴듯하게 같다 붙이면 나름인거니까. 실제로 개발을 안하면 필요없지 않을까

To sum up, To platforms including Ethereum can be used in real life,  the network should be kept free from overload. ---> To do so, it must be able to meet the computing power required by the dapps.  Denying the value of the project would mean breaking the premise that cryptocurrency can be used in real life. This is why I decided to invest in the project. But how can you believe that? Speaking itself is very easy compared to developing in real. If it cannot be developed like it is in the white paper, it is useless.

https://steemit.com/iexec/@jkarim/7ptnyv-iexec 자세한 설명은 이를 참조하긴 바란다. 이름있는 대기업은 당연하고 국가기관은 가급적 자신들의 이름을 담보로 협약을 맺어주지 않는다. 어중간한 기업과의 파트너쉽으로 문제가 생기면 자신들의 명성은 물론, 국가의 기관이므로 국가이미지에도 타격이 생기기 때문이다. 거꾸로 말하면 국가기관과의 파트너쉽을 한 기업이라는 것은, 해당 기업이 충분히 신뢰성을 갖췄다는 것을 뜻한다. 그 기관이 해당분야에서 국가 최고의 기관이면  더할 나위가 없다. 특히, 해당 국가의 최고 연구기관인 중국과학원과 프랑스 국립 과학연구소의 파트너쉽은 나의 의구심을 충분히 해소시켜줄 수 있었다.

Problems can arise due to partnerships with uncertain companies, the reputation of the companies and the national image of the nation will be hurt. In other words, a firm in partnership with a national institution means it is reliable enough. It would be best if the institution were the best in the field. In this point, partnership with the Chinese academy, the nation's top research institute, and the French National Institute of Sciences was able to resolve my doubts.

감출게 많은 사람은, 자신을 드러내기를 두려워한다. 많은 정치인들이 청문회를 두려워하는 이유다. 암호화폐도 똑같다.  소위 말하는 스캠들은 그들의 개발상황을 주기적으로 보여주는 것을 꺼린다. 이 부분에 있어서 아이젝은 정말 잘 하고 있다고 생각한다. 2~3일에 이러한 것들이 한번씩 업로드 된다Dev letter에서는 개발상황에 대한 기술적인 부분을, Project update에서는 파트너쉽과 밋업 등 사업적인 부분을 공유한다.뿐만 아니라 슬랙에서 실시간으로 질문에 대해 답해주고 한국의 경우 일주일에 1~2번씩 카카오톡으로 질의응답시간을 갖는다.

Sinful men are afraid to show themselves. That is why many politicians are afraid of hearings. Cryptocurrency is same. The so-called scams are reluctant to regularly show their development. I think the project is doing very well in this respect. They uploaded it every 2-3 days. Dev Letter shares the technical details of the development and Project Update shares the business parts, such as partnership and business. In addition, you can receive answers from your questions in real time on Slack.

4.  자금력

어떤 프로젝트가, 훌륭한 기술력을 가지고 있을지라도, 자금이 부족하면 기술개발에 큰 차질이 생길 수 밖에 없다. 그런데, 아이젝은 몇 시간만에 역대 ico 모금금액 중 3번째에 해당하는 10000btc를 모금했다.  비트코인이 곤두박칠 지금 시가로도 1300억원이 넘는다.  즉, 기술개발에 필요한 자금이 매우 넉넉하다.

Even if a project has great technique, a lack of funds will cause a major impediment to technology development. However, the project collected 10,000 btc, the third largest scale in ico history. Although the continous dip in the bitcoin price nowadays, It is now more than 150 million dollars. In other words, they have a large amount of money to develop the technology. 

5. 블루오션

이러한 것들이 괜찮다고 한들, 이미 인지도가 높아 가격에 다 반영되어있으면 투자에 큰 메리트가 없을 수밖에 없다. 그러나 아이젝의 경우 본격적인 마케팅을 5월로 잡은 만큼, 아직 인지도가 낮아, 나중에 인지도가 커지면서  그러한 것들이 가격에 반영될 확률이 높다고 생각한다. 바이낸스 비트렉스 비트파이넥스 업비트에 상장돼있지만 거래량도 크게 안 높을 뿐더러 사토시가격도 ico의 절반 수준이다

Even if these things are okay, if they are already well recognized and everything is included in the price, you may hesitate to invest in it. However, as iExec team set the aggressive marketing of this project for May, I believe that as awareness grows, they will be more likely to be reflected in the price. It is listed on the Binance, Bittrex, Bitfinex, upbit, but its transaction volume is not very high and the price of satoshi is half of ico price.
