INTRODUCTION

Greetings dear Steemians of Incredible India, it's been such a long time. I'm @destinedhanik. Today, I'm contesting on this topic by @sduttaskitchen where I'll be talking about my weekends. While some people look forward to weekends, there are others who do not like it because of the volume of work that they have to do. I think I fall under those that look forward to weekends and I'll reveal my reasons, stay tuned.

How does the weekend carry value in your life routine? Describe!

First of all, I'm a teacher in a private school and that means more work and less pay with little amount of time for myself. And I resume work on or before 7am and close as early as 4pm on most days, so I look forward to weekends as it is the only time I have to myself. But it's not all weekends I have to myself as I still need to work on some weekends of I'm scheduled for it.

But on weekends i am free, I use my time judiciously. As a teacher, I use the weekends to sweep and mop my house and also wash my dirty clothes. I also use the weekend to do other things like write my lesson note and also relax by watching movies and there after I cook my food for the week.

Do you find enjoyment in your weekends, or do you often find it necessary to engage in additional work during this time? We invite you to share your perspective with us.

I find enjoyment in my weekends as I'm always busy during weekdays and barely have time for myself. I do not engage in additional work during this time as all work but no play makes Jack a dull boy. Stress can kill and hood health is wealth, rather, I spend the weekend attending to other things like my health, my hair, etc. I also cook varieties of dishes if possible to last me for the week.

What would be your dream weekend that you love to spend? Share!

My dream weekend would be spending time outdoors doing what I enjoy most which is spending time having picnics, or walking on the beach, watching movies and reading novels and finally sleeping without thinking of what wirk I'll do when I wake up.

    It's justifiable that teachers who put in long hours are tired. Therefore, weekends, can be your time to recharge and have fun. It is a very pleasing thing not only to see but also to know you manage to do the cleaning, meal prep, and self-care. The picture you painted of the weekend on which you were loafing is the exact one that I picture for such an event—a picnic or just relax. I wonder when that day will come, and you will be carefree about the ​‍​‌‍​‍‌work!
