Childhood experiences in the family have a significant impact on the character of a person, his behavior, and further evolution. The family environment is the earliest the child comes to live in and it is where one learns values, beliefs and social habits. Parents and guardians will act as role models and children will tend to copy their behavior with regard to work, education, relationship and responsibility. The environment provided in the family may aid children to grow with confidence, emotional balance, and effective communication skills.
Conversely, the family environment could be negative or unstable resulting in behavioral issues or low self-esteem. Families also play a role in the moral growth of a child where they educate them on what is right and wrong. Moreover, family support through emotional support is what aids children in their growth and deal with challenges and stress. Consequently, family pressure in childhood provides the basis of personality and future relations of a person.
Which type of familial culture would yu prefer, and what's the rationale behind your preference?
If I'm to be honest the kind of family culture I would like to have is a family that is neither strict nor shows no love because the parents in such a family environment would give clear guidelines and expectations to their children and will also promote open communication and understanding. This type of atmosphere enables children to be self expressive and at the same time gain education on respect and responsibility. I like this culture, as it encourages independence and close relationship with the family members.
Children raised by an environment that is conducive and orderly have better opportunities of emerging with confidence making good decisions. A culture of a family, which values education, respect, co-operation, also conditions the children to perform well in the society. Guidance and freedom also help individuals to grow up responsible and emotionally stable adults.

Various family structures come with their own advantages and disadvantages such as joint family, nuclear family and professional family.
A joint family is a living family made up of members of the extended family like grandparents, aunts, uncle as well as cousins. Another good thing about this structure is that it offers a good emotional and financial support. Children are blessed with the experience and affection of a number of adults and the duties of the family are usually shared. Nevertheless, conflicts may also arise in joint families because of the differences in opinions, lifestyles, or expectations. Such arrangements can also restrain privacy.
A nuclear family is one comprising of parents and their children who are not residing with the extended family. Increased privacy and independence is one of the benefits of nuclear families. Parents are able to make decisions easily without outside influence. Nonetheless, some challenges may arise in the nuclear families like in the event of lack of support in a time of need, particularly in regard to child care or financial strain.
Professional families are mostly financially stable and can access more opportunities since parents are very career-focused. Such families may have good education and living standards of children. But the downside is that the parents can have very little time to interact with the kids, which can influence emotional attachment.
