Learning is a journey - wisdom is that I still have much to learn.

Learning is a continuous process; some individuals may believe they possess substantial knowledge regarding their field or workplace.
However, true wisdom is manifested when an informed individual acknowledges that they still have much to learn. This distinction sets apart genuinely knowledgeable and educated individuals from others.
I wish to refrain from naming specific individuals, yet I am aware of many on this platform who lack formal educational backgrounds and demonstrate significant deficiencies in writing skills. I have observed numerous errors in their work, even when composing in their native language.

Furthermore, I recognise that some of these individuals are associated with spamming activities. However, when they are presented with opportunities, they often act as though they have achieved monumental success.
The purpose of highlighting this example is to emphasise that genuine knowledge encompasses an ongoing desire to learn. It is also pertinent to note that learning is a gradual process, and each day presents an opportunity for personal growth if one embodies true wisdom.

How can we expect a person who has not attended school to comprehend the quality of content? Furthermore, how can one appreciate the value of writing relying solely on a translator or using voice recognition technology as their only means of expression?
To acquire knowledge, one must cultivate a reading habit, especially if one aspires to achieve exceptional outcomes or engage in meaningful analysis related to one's field of knowledge.
For example, a mason may skillfully lay bricks and accurately gauge the necessary quantities of sand, cement, and stone to construct a wall; however, this does not qualify him as an engineer. To become an engineer, one must receive formal education in the relevant discipline.

The tendency of individuals to compromise on quality or to engage in projects without the requisite expertise can often result in significant losses. Continuous self-education is essential, whether one is embarking on a new endeavour or reflecting on past achievements; this commitment to ongoing improvement will enhance one’s capabilities and foster greater success.
Furthermore, individuals who comprehend the essence of wisdom are likely to exhibit humility and refrain from overconfidence and ostentation.
Individuals who possess a genuine passion for learning often approach life with humility and a commitment to ongoing education.
Throughout my experiences in various sectors, including my work on this platform, I have encountered a diverse array of individuals, which has enabled me to discern what merits acceptance and what should be disregarded.

During our journeys, we meet numerous people; however, only a select few genuinely impart the true essence of life and the significance of humility and continuous learning.
Regardless of how often one engages in preparation, the moment of crafting each dish—marked by a sense of urgency and dedication to excellence—serves as a reminder to exercise caution and thoroughness. It prompts a careful review of our work before presentation and service.
This principle holds true across all fields, whether in professional tasks or personal endeavours.

The biggest problem with the internet and its associated platforms/social media is that suddenly everyone has become a writer and everyone thinks they know everything. Literally, even the most illiterate person is suddenly heard. I myself find it incomprehensible that someone keeps making the same mistakes and doesn't learn how to spell a word just by reading what others write. But that is precisely the problem: you can type something quickly and, of course, say that you have dyslexia, an excuse I hear all the time these days, but the truth is that the average person does not read. People do not want to spend time on this, and the same applies to looking things up. Anyone who is not curious about the truth, never asks questions, never checks anything and then looks for the answer, accepting the first thing they hear or see as true (AI answers are a good example of this), is definitely not intelligent in my opinion. For me, intelligence has nothing to do with education, because you don't learn very much at school. It is certainly possible to learn something excellent through home schooling or by watching what others do. This was also the case with our ancestors. A thirst for knowledge is a prerequisite, as is the will to learn something. Many people lack this. The general lack of interest is a good example of this.
I agree with you that the biggest braggarts and know-it-alls generally have little power. A wise person does not need this behaviour.

You raised an important point regarding the tendency of many individuals not to engage with content, which underscores the distinction between knowledge and intellect.
It is a common belief that individuals are intelligent simply because they choose to follow prevailing trends. Indeed, some do achieve success through this approach. However, I contend that such success is often not sustainable in the long term. If I am unable to validate my knowledge, fulfill my responsibilities, and reflect on my contributions, I find it difficult to attain personal satisfaction—this is an intrinsic aspect of my character.
This situation is analogous to a teacher grading examination papers without a comprehensive understanding of the correct answers, having secured a position not through demonstrated skill but through alternative means, rendering intelligence ineffective in that context. While I concur that intelligence is not exclusively linked to formal education, it is crucial to recognize that education plays a vital role in equipping individuals to discern where, how, and when to apply their intelligence effectively.
Moreover, I completely agree with your observation that many individuals today do not engage with written content, which is a concern that resonates with me deeply.
I appreciate your thoughtful engagement with my post and thank you for sharing your insights through your comment.

I've broached this topic before, including regarding Steem Curators. I still wonder how posts can be appreciated by people who don't read, don't care about reading (which is the majority), can't read, can't focus on a topic for more than two minutes, have no interest in certain topics, and never write a comment where the text they read raises questions or makes it clear that they actually understand the point. How can someone with no interest in creativity judge this? I still don't understand this at all, not even curators who never leave a comment about the text they upvote or even nominate later. There's a lot that puzzles me, but this is the approach that has been taken for years, and for me the saying "a shoemaker sticks to his last" still applies.
There are certainly people with many interests, but the average person is only on this platform (and also SC) to make a lot of money, and that means posting quickly, quickly getting a few random (or prearranged votes), and that's it.
That's why I wrote on Talkchannel @adeljose that I think communities should represent a topic, but not a country. This is the only way to find posts related to your own interests and also people who share the same interests.
I wish you a wonderful, creative day.
A big hug!
P.S. What are we having for dinner today?

I'm not sure about your sense of humour, but I think I might need to change my user ID! 🤔 Do you think 'sduttaskitchen' means I sleep inside the kitchen? 😷
As a single person, it's quite challenging to go shopping for veggies and non-veg ingredients, then come home, prepare everything alone, cook, and wash the dishes! These days, I cook less often, but that doesn't mean I eat junk food—I've been enjoying simple and easy recipes at home. I really appreciate your point; through comments, we can connect despite living in different countries. Also, from my perspective, quality writing should be valued more than quantity! I've seen many people share 3-4 pieces of content daily, but unfortunately, they often lack quality. I know some create multiple accounts just to get support with their posts, which is quite shameful and unethical. Such actions can overshadow deserving writers, and unfortunately, some even play questionable DM games behind the scenes.

Humour? If "dutta" means "dutje" (Dutch for a nap) you might be which means you are exhausted and are most likely not cooking. I still store food in the kitchen even if I don't cook and still ask: what to eat, have for dinner (in many cases I skip it and during the past 6 months I hardly cooked - 10 times perhaps and it's always fast).
I exactly know how it is to have 3 jobs, only 2 hours sleep, being a single (teenage) mom and working my arse off and wasting the biggest part of my life... working.
I am afraid we can't change our username...there's not much to wake up on Steemit, everyone dozed off or they just post and leave pretending being busy while they have plenty of time chatting on different platforms (human is a miracle to me).
I agree that quality shouild be rewarded but you can forget about that with that with all those badly written texts, diaries, terrible titles, and huge lack of creativity. I post in average every other day. If you ask me that's enough since I have more than one account to take care of plus most is not rewarded anyway meaning what I do should give me fun. If it comes to quality we had those discussions year after year and it's of course, partly personal, but what we see since years will not give Steemit as a platform a good name.
Posting several times a day is mainly done to be noticed which can also be achieved by reading and commenting.
By the way: also among the high rank are terrible writers, with bad grammar still receiving high reward, although a part uses upvote bots which most users don't know.
I am not sure if the multiple accounts are to receive many upvotes. If you ask me it takes a lot of time to post daily, several times a bit "shit" with each account in the hope to be rewarded. (I would say: How bored can one be and if these people are such a great writers it's better and faster to publish a book and generate an income with that).
It's no secret that most good, creative writers left the platform and those still around are in average, neglected. I assume they are a threat or they don't like to be mentioned between the rest of the trashy posters. I know I like the corner where I am more simply because there are likeminded people and there's no reason to explain which face creatiity has today.
With me you for sure also know that votes given, by SCs and high ranked, are partly also discussed and part of deals made.
All I can say is that Steemit is a great platform if you find a place where you feel comfortable among people who do appreciate what you do and stand for.
If you don't get yourself involved and bribed they will spit you out.

@wakeupkitty much appreciated your support dear friend! 💝

There are for sure way more successful autodidacts than people who finished school, university.
