I am pleased to announce an upcoming contest scheduled for July 2026, which will invite participants to engage in discussions centred around its thematic focus.

It is often observed that circumstances do not align with our favourable expectations, leading individuals to adopt a negative mindset,
which can result in surrendering to challenges.

It is essential to recognise that while one may be unable to alter external situations,
it is possible to manage them effectively through a positive mindset.

For instance, when a child struggles to excel in their academic pursuits, parents can play a vital role in motivating the child by cultivating a positive perspective. However, there are occasions when parental expectations may become disproportionately high, leading to stress and potential emotional distress for the child.

In light of this, I encourage our Steemian colleagues to consider the theme of mindset and share their insights through participation in this contest.

• Do you believe mindset can be a strong weapon? Explain your viewpoint!

• Do you think that, if we can't change any situation, then our changing mindset towards it can be a solution? Justify!

• Mindset can be positive and inimical! How? Justify!
