Going through this topic for a week now, dependency can have its own charm. Like in our youthful days, we could do nothing on our own, yet all the core essentials were taken care of. Even now, whenever I get sick, my parents treat me as though I am still a young boy. Having someone to depend on is a comfort in itself. I feel like I can only be truly independent in terms of monetary concerns, and even that is only partially true. Beyond that, you are also dependent on governments, banks, and in my case, my parents as well.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
