IIIT-Hyderabad Launches All India AI/ML, Blockchain Executive Programs
The International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad (IIIT-H), has announced an all-India rollout of its executive programmes in association on AI, ML, Blockchain Technologies in association with TalentSprint.
According to a report in ET IIIT-H said the rollout was in response to a demand for deep-tech expertise currently sweeping through knowledge professionals in all major technology hubs of the country.
The AI/ML programme will be spread across 18 weeks and will commence from August 2019 while the Blockchain tech programme will commence from June.
There would be three campus visits of three days each to IIIT-Hyderabad, and live interactive online classes in other weeks, professor Ramesh Loganathan of IIIT-Hyderabad told media persons.
These hybrid executive programme will help train software professionals and bring them upto speed and enable them to build a career in these areas.
Blockchain technology is gaining adoption in Indian enterprise sector and there is a dearth of engineers who are capable of working on these innovative new technologies.
However, if someone is planning to sign up for such programmes it would be wise to check if it provides any job prospects post completion. If it has ample practical lab hours or mentoring and goes beyond basic theory.
The course isn't exactly cheap and will cost around 2 lakhs or so. But for someone who wants to earn a certificate in these technologies from a reputed institute then this is their chance.
Overall it's a great move and I'm sure it will help fill the gap in the industry and create talent who are employable in AI/ML and Blockchain sectors.

Yes I witness the rise of demand as well good courses regarding blockchain, AI/ML which includes Upgrad , Simplilearn etc
From Job prospect wise, the only institute which i know good is appliedaicourse.com for machine learning.
I have seen it...in YouTube as add..and maybe 4 lakh was the admission fee...as far as I could remember...and sir how can I get the admission...actually I m also a technical student...and I think it is important for me too...
