Story of Nobel Prize
About 100 years ago, a man was looking at the morning's newspaper and suddenly he was surprised and frightened by seeing his name on the page of the dead line. Later, in the statement, the newspaper said in the statement that by mistake the person was declared dead. But after seeing the newspaper, the man's first reaction was to see.
He was thinking that he is here or is there? And when looking at the details, he got back on patiently, another thought in his mind came about what people are thinking about him.
When people read on the Deadlists page, "King of Dynamite was killed." And also, "He was the merchant of death." That man had discovered dynamite and when he read the words 'Merchant of death' , Then he asked himself a question,
"Will I be remembered by this name?" He felt his emotions at that time and decided that he did not want to be remembered like this.
From that day onwards, he started working for peace. That man was named Alfred Nobel and today he is remembered for the Nobel Prize.
Since 1901, men and women who receive great achievement in the fields of physics, chemistry, medicine, literature and peace are honored with the Nobel Prize. That institution was established in 1895 when Alfred Nobel wrote in his will that he was leaving after leaving all his property to award the Nobel prize.
Just as Alfred Nobel felt his emotions and was determined to restore his qualities, we should also think of moving forward one step backward.
What is your legacy?
How do you want to remember?
Do you want to make yourself rememberable?
Do you want to become a lesser one?
These are some of the questions that we rarely think. But the answer to this question can be searched in this small story.
Just like Alfred Nobel, we must hear the voice of our heart that what we are doing is good or bad. If we want people to remember us as a good person, then we should do good work in our life only then people will remember us as good.
