Evolution is such a continuous process.. !! @Innerpeace
We all have heard about the Darvin's theory of evolution that how every little thing in the world got evolved and how did we reach to what we are now. He explained it very scientifically with all the possible logics applied. Also Hindu Puranas show many facts that the ancient science was much more ahead of that what it is today. they have explained about the evolution theory in a way of their own. so i am just trying to combine both the theories here. Let us see how it goes.
Hindu Purana has a systematic sequence of Incarnations of Lord Vishnu(Supreme God head, As i say always one god many forms), Which may be capable enough to explain the evolution process. The Incarnations go like this.
1.Matsya Avatara ( Fish Incarnation)
According to Darvin's theory, he says the living organisms are evolved into such perfection of living through the natural selection inheriting the common characteristics of their parents. He says the original living organisms on earth are the small bacteria evolved to form fishes the first vertebrates, Which can be compared to the Fish Incarnation of Lord Vishnu.
2.Kurma Avatara ( Tortoise Incarnation)
Then he says the fishes went on evolving and learnt to live on both the water and the ground which are called the amphibians, which can be aligned with the Tortoise Incarnation of Lord Vishnu.
3.Varaha Avatara ( Pig Incarnation)
Further he says part of the amphibians started living on the ground itself making it their home, which can be compared with the Pig Incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Who were the first to start walking on the earth.
4.Narasimha Avatara ( Lion Incarnation)
Then comes the first form of homo sepians, who were having the characteristics of both human and an animal. This is the evolutionary process as per the Darvin as well. Which can be compared with the Half human Half lion incarnation of Lord Vishnu.
5.Vamana Avatara( The Dwarf Incarnation)
Then these primary homo sepians are evolved into the first apes which can be compared with the Dwarf Incarnation of the Lord Vishnu.
6.Parashurama Avatara( God with the Axe incarnation)
Then the Apes evolved into learning how to use the weapons to feed themselves, this can be seen exactly through the Parashuram Incarnation(Man with an Axe).
7.Sri Rama Avatara ( Rama Incarnation)
Then the man who knew how to use weapons for the sheer need of himself evolved into a perfect man with all his senses under control and started living a normal human life. This man knew how to make Bows and use them. which can be seen through the Incarnation of Lord Rama. Who is the symbol of a man with God Conscious Human, outer awareness.
8.Sri Krishna Avatara( Krishna Incarnation)
Then Man who is evolved into making more advanced weapons of his own. which can be compared to Lord Krishna. Who is the symbol of a man with inner conscious, inner awareness.
9.Lord Buddha Avatara( Buddha Incarnation)
The man is further evolved into having self realization and self enlightenment , which can be seen through the Lord Buddha.
10.Lord Kalki Avatara ( Kalki Incarnation)
This is believed that this incarnation is yet to come on earth by the end of this Kaliyug. Which shows the man evolved into the higher form of realization.
We did evolve, we are evolving and we keep on doing that as per the ancient puranas. Hope you like this.

Really awesome post! Love the comparisons between science and mythology! I'm pretty familiar with a lot of the classical mythology, but I am just about clueless about Indian mythology and Buddhism. Awesome stuff!
Thanks @herpetologyguy.. Good to know that lot of guys do like mythology. :) Thanks for the support
There is lot more interesting stuffs in Indian mythology.. If you wish we can connect and learn more about the thing we do not know. :)
