This time I want to share a little post about the history of the beginning of Indonesia has its first aircraft originating from the donation of the people of Aceh.
Aceh is one of the provinces located in the western tip of the Republic of Indonesia, Aceh and Indonesia is inseparable. How the people of Aceh and the Indonesian nation since the colonial era to achieve independence continue to struggle together. The struggle of the people of Aceh for Indonesia is not small, much has been done by the people of Aceh for Indonesia.
When the Dutch and Japanese invaded Indonesia the people of Aceh are always in an independent state. It is because of the arduous struggle perpetrated by the people of Aceh that made the invaders never reach the Acehnese nation. The result is that the Acehnese are free from economic poverty because they are not entangled in the colonial system. Choosing to not care can actually be done by the people of Aceh. But being born and being a part of the Indonesian Nation has made the Acehnese people have a moral responsibility to assist the Government of Indonesia.
One contribution of the people of Aceh to support Indonesia's struggle after independence is the ownership of the Republic's first aircraft. Where at that time the people of Aceh unite to raise funds to buy a plane that we know today with the name of RI 001 Seulawah. DC-3 Dakota type aircraft purchased from the donation of the people of Aceh who are willing to provide jewelry, gold and other valuable property.
In 1948, President Soekarno came specifically to Aceh to meet with Aceh Military Governor Daud Beureueh. The meeting was held at a hotel located adjacent to the Baiturrahman Grand Mosque namely Hotel Aceh. At that time Bung Karno cried, pleaded and appealed to Daud Beureueh and the people of Aceh to help the government to buy a plane.
That night Soekarno also said "I will not eat tonight, if the people of Aceh do not want to help". At that time Daud Beureueh who felt pity and pity to Soekarno immediately ordered his personal assistant that is Abu Mansor to collect donations sourced from the people of Aceh. Hearing the call of Daud Beureueh, At that time also the entire people of Aceh vying to provide assistance, some give money, gold, jewelry, garden and agricultural products and other valuable property.
The efforts of the people of Aceh to help the government was not in vain, from the results of the joint was successfully collected about 20 kg of gold or equivalent to 130 thousand Singapore dollars at that time. Thus Indonesia can buy a plane from Singapore.
Before Sukarno returned to Java island to bring the donation of the people of Aceh, in a grand meeting with the people of Aceh held in the field of Blangpadang, with the characteristic of the oration that pounding he invites to all people of Aceh to continue to fight to support the struggle. "I ask you, young men, clerics, brothers and sons of the army, all the employees who are gathered here and throughout the region of Aceh let us continue to fight" said Bung Karno.
During his visit to Aceh President Soekarno also conveyed a message to Daud Beureueh to invite the people of Aceh to help the struggle to expel the Dutch who still occupy some areas in Indonesia. Daud Beureueh also guaranteed Bung Karno's request on the condition of war that stirred up the people of Aceh later is a war that upholds the Religion of God.
After returning to Java Island in October 1948 Bung Karno purchased a DC-3 Dakota type aircraft through Singapore, by Wiweko Airline Officer Soepono who was eventually appointed to be the President Director of Garuda. Given the registration of RI-001 Seulawah, this is the first transport plane owned by Indonesia and the forerunner to the establishment of Indonesia Airwasy which at that time based in Burma (Myanmar), because most of Indonesia is still dominated by the Dutch.

Bagaimana kabarnya? Semoga kita semua dalam keadaan sehat selalu.
Kali ini saya ingin membagikan sedikit postingan tentang sejarah awal mula Indonesia memiliki Pesawat Terbang pertamanya yang bersumber dari hasil sumbangan rakyat Aceh.
Aceh merupakan salah satu provinsi yang berada di ujung barat Republik Indonesia, Aceh dan Indonesia memang tidak bisa dipisahkan. Bagaimana Rakyat Aceh dan Bangsa Indonesia sejak jaman penjajahan hingga meraih kemerdekaan terus sama-sama berjuang. Perjuangan rakyat aceh untuk Indonesia tidaklah sedikit, banyak hal yang telah dilakukan rakyat aceh untuk indonesia.
Ketika Belanda dan Jepang menjajah indonesia rakyat Aceh selalu dalam kondisi merdeka. Itu karena perjuangan gigih yang dilakukan oleh rakyat Aceh yang membuat penjajah tidak pernah bisa sampai kepada bangsa Aceh. Hasilnya orang-orang Aceh terbebas dari kemelaratan ekonomi karena tidak terjerat sistem kolonial. Memilih untuk tidak peduli sebenarnya bisa saja dilakukan oleh masyarakat Aceh. Namun terlahir dan menjadi bagian dari Bangsa Indonesia membuat rakyat Aceh memiliki tanggung jawab moral untuk membantu Pemerintah Indonesia.
Salah satu kontribusi rakyat Aceh untuk mendukung perjuangan Indonesia setelah kemerdekaan adalah kepemilikan pesawat pertama Republik ini. Dimana pada saat itu rakyat Aceh bersatu menggalang dana untuk membeli sebuah pesawat yang kita kenal saat ini dengan nama RI 001 Seulawah. Pesawat jenis Dakota DC-3 dibeli dari hasil sumbangan rakyat Aceh yang rela mengikhlaskan perhiasan, emas dan harta berharga lainnya.
Pada tahun 1948, Presiden Soekarno datang khusus ke Aceh untum bertemu dengan Gubernur Militer Aceh Daud Beureueh. Pertemuan itu dilakukan di sebuah hotel yang terletak berdekatan dengan Mesjid Raya Baiturrahman yaitu Hotel Aceh. Pada saat itu Bung Karno menangis, mengiba dan memohon kepada Daud Beureueh dan rakyat Aceh untuk mau membantu pemerintah agar dapat membeli sebuah pesawat.
Pada malam itu juga soekarno sempat berkata "saya tidak akan makan malam ini, kalau rakyat Aceh tidak mau membantu". Saat itu Daud Beureueh yang merasa iba dan kasihan kepada Soekarno langsung memerintahkan asisten pribadinya yaitu Abu Mansor untuk mengumpulkan sumbangan yang bersumber dari rakyat Aceh. Mendengar seruan Daud Beureueh, Saat itu juga seluruh masyarakat Aceh berlomba-lomba memberikan bantuannya, ada yang memberikan uang, emas, perhiasan, hasil kebun dan pertanian dan harta berharga lainnya.
Usaha rakyat Aceh untuk membantu pemerintah pun tidak sia-sia, dari hasil patungan itu berhasil terkumpul sekitar 20 kg emas atau setara 130 ribu dolar Singapura pada masa itu. Dengan demikian Indonesia bisa membeli sebuah pesawat dari Singapura.
Sebelum Soekarno kembali ke pulau jawa untuk membawa hasil sumbangan rakyat Aceh, dalam pertemuan akbar dengan rakyat Aceh yang diadakan di lapangan Blangpadang, dengan ciri khas orasi yang menggeloran dia mengajak kepada seluruh rakyat aceh untuk terus berjuang mendukung perjuangannya. "aku meminta kepadamu hai pemuda-pemudi, ulama-ulama, saudara-saudara, anak-anakku dari angkatan perang, segenap pegawai yang berkumpul disini dan diseluruh daerah Aceh marilah kita terus berjuang" kata bung karno.
Dalam kunjungannya ke Aceh Presiden Soekarno juga menyampaikan pesan kepada Daud Beureueh untuk mengajak rakyat Aceh membantu perjuangan mengusir Belanda yang masih menduduki beberapa wilayah di Indonesia. Daud Beureueh pun mengaminkan permintaan Bung Karno itu dengan syarat perang yang dikobarkan rakyat Aceh nanti adalah perang yang menegakkan Agama Allah.
Setelah kembali ke Pulau Jawa pada oktober 1948 Bung Karno membeli sebuah pesawat jenis Dakota DC-3 melalui singapura, oleh Perwira penerbangan Wiweko Soepono yang akhirnya ditunjuk untuk menjadi Direktur Utama Garuda. Dengan diberikan registrasi RI-001 Seulawah, inilah pesawat angkut pertama yang dimiliki Indonesia dan cikal bakal berdirinya Indonesia Airwasy yang pada saat itu berkantor di Burma (Myanmar), karena sebagian besar wilayah Indonesia masih dikuasai oleh Belanda.
Itulah sedikit cerita singkat yang bisa saya bagikan kepada teman-teman semua mengenai sejarah awal Indonesia memiliki sebuah pesawat terbang yang memiliki peran penting dalam perjalanan perjuangan negara ini. Semoga bermanfaat dan teman-teman semua menyukai postingan saya ini.
