Why the Police and the Law Are Broken

Life for a police officer is hard. The job description doesn't match the job… at all. There is no being heroic, there is only shaking down middle class people for extortion funds. There is no stopping crime, there is only cleanup and taking reports. And, very sad to say, but most things a police officer does is unconstitutional.

The worst thing is that police officers can do nothing to real criminals. But, their slightest action against a middle class person can destroy their lives, forever. (and this is not after going to court, it only requires a ride in a police car, just an arrest record)

So, by definition, police officers cannot protect the people they are supposed to protect.

And we are seeing one extreme in the stories of immigrants who are beating people to death, and they are often not arrested, and often found innocent, because they are "immigrants"

On the other extreme, we see people losing their beloved doggo, because the po-po were called. Would you call the po-po if the stakes are someone you love may die?

The two worlds

If you are not a part of the middle-class, and you are used to people dissing you, and can sleep in lousy conditions, well then, the police are not (legally) allowed to harm you. You get to go on vacation for a few days, where you have your own bed, and get three hot meals a day. You may even get some street-cred.

There is almost nothing the cops can do, except try to scare them. And after the first time, this has very little effect, except to make the under-class hate the "pigs".

On the other hand, a hard working, middle-class guy has EVERYTHING to fear from police officers.

"Unless you have done something wrong, you shouldn't be afraid of the police", is what they say, including the police, but it is all a lie. The police can destroy their lives just because they want to. All it takes is an arrest record. A database that is shared all over, so much shared that many websites will let you search all your friends. And, HR takes every potential job applicant, and runs their name. And if the name comes up, they will often not even get a chance to explain. Many companies/industries will not hire someone with an arrest record at all, some legally can't hire them.

A police officer can arrest you for anything they want, including "resisting arrest". Of course you will probably be let out of jail as soon as a judge sees the case, or the police drop it after you spend 3 days in jail. Three days is a LONG time to someone with a family and a job. Long enough to get you fired, and/or put you in a rears on your payments.

And, you think you have done nothing? Well, a lawyer claims, that if he follows around someone for a day, that he will see them commit three felonies. And most aren't even aware of the law they have broken.

If you are not part of polite society, you have very little to fear from the cops. If you are salary worker just trying to get by, you have everything to fear from any interaction you have with a police officer.

Police Officers Ignore the Constitution Every Day

You have heard it in every WW2 show, the German police saying "ver ar yo papas? Yo papas do not seem to be in order".

This is the same "papers" as it says in the Bill of Rights.

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects…

So, how dare the police officer ask you for your ID?!!!!

However, this is where legal chicanery begins. Going and getting a driver's license or an ID card, you sign away your rights. (It is called registration. Registration means giving the thing up to the state) Further, the "ID" is not yours, it is the state's. And, by code (not law) you are required to give it up to any officer of the state who asks for it.

This is how they get around the bill of rights.

With laws like this, how are the police supposed to be good police officers? They start off violating people's constitutional rights, and then go further.

Legally, Police Officers are not required to protect you, and other heinous legalities

In many areas, police are required to shoot a dog that may cause them harm. This has been included to mean puppies in cages. And the arrest of a woman who put herself in the way of a police officer trying to shoot her doggo.

Police officers are allowed to lie to you, and you are required to tell the truth, always, at all times. Even to weasel worded questions, where they catch you, technically, not telling the truth. Police do not have to swear in, in court. And are rarely punished when they are caught lying on the stand. So, many lawyers say "DO NOT TALK TO THE POLICE".

The police are the largest, best armed gang in town. They are involved with all sizeable drug shipments. Many police own a sizeable portion of downtown. And many people, especially business owners, will find themselves being shaken down for "policeman's ball tickets", and if they don't pay, will find themselves being investigated by every official in the area.

Police Officers have "confiscated" more money than thieves stole last year. Asset forfeiture has allowed police officers to take money and then make people prove that they weren't going to use it for drugs.

The whole system is broken. We cannot have good policemen when the laws, code, statutes and mandates make it impossible for policemen to do good. A quota to arrest 10 people a week, mean that a police officer will find ten people to intimidate into admitting to something and then destroying their lives.

Most people, especially good people, aren't tried by a jury of their peers. They take a plea deal. Because they can get out of jail before they would even get scheduled for trial. What kind of world do we live in, where, if you are innocent, and twelve peers would never convict you, would you take a plea deal, because you will spend less time in prison??!! "Want to get out this week? Sign here. Else, you will have to wait a year or two for the trial, and you don't know how the trial is going to go." This is SOP, but it should be illegal as it is unconstitutional.

And protesting against the police is very dicey. If you are a saying propaganda that comes from above, like "Defund the Police" which are designed to turn low income neighborhoods into lawless zones. (So those mother WEFers can act like thy are saving people by "rebuilding" their city) But, if you protest your local police because they killed one of your friends, i have seen where everyone who protested was harassed by city officials.

And, if you haven't realized it, James Bond is a fiction, but your average police officer has a license to kill.

You are only required to have the state Driver's License, that is used as the default ID, on your person if you are driving. There is no law requiring you to have it on your person if you are just walking or bicycling somewhere or riding in someone else's vehicle. Other than that everything else you stated is on point.
