RE: Thinking About Disinformation Warfare...
He is extremely anti conspiracy theory.
I am not.
Most things technically are "conspiracy theories" even the OFFICIAL stories when much of the evidence is missing.
Those words have distinctive meanings and they shouldn't have the bad connotations they do today. They often end up being TRUE.
The label conspiracy theory came in the wake of the JFK assassination and was coined by the CIA. It turns out many of those conspiracy theories were true. Though until recently they'd been used to call people tin foil hatters, conspiracy nuts, etc.
There are nutty people in every field, and for every topic. That doesn't mean everyone in a field or topic is nutty. I realize this MAY NOT have been what you were aiming for, but I thought I should qualify. I have zero problems with conspiracy theories. I'll listen, observe, and use reason and make up my own mind. I don't ignore information because some "authority" decided to make that source of information out as absurd.
Yet through open source he has determined that the Saudi's, Israel, the Gulf States and Egypt formed a secret alliance in 2015.
Funny thing is. Most people would call that a conspiracy theory. ;) Again, I have no problems with that.
There exists almost no footage of these guys, they will not allow camera crews in until these guys have completed their mission and regular military mop up.
Kind of like the video footage blackhole for the mandalay bay in Las Vegas, or the video footage blackhole for the pentagon on 9/11. Both heavily videoed places.
Believe me, this guy is the biggest ever non conspiracy theorist red pill provider.
Sounds like conspiracy theories to me. The source does not change whether something is or is not a CONSPIRACY or a THEORY. Both are separate words and their labels are often very applicable even to the "official story".
Technically due to the planes being destroyed and so much evidence destroyed the entire narrative that is known as the official story of 9/11 is also a conspiracy theory. :)
The words have been improperly hijacked and vilified.
Just to clarify, I wrote "he is extremely anti conspiracy theory'. I wrote that because Wictor receives a lot of flak, leftist hate, disinfo and has had death threats. Literally today, he stated he was through reasoning with people and will block those pushing unsubstantiated conspiracy theories.
I agree Thomas Wictor is a ball of contradictions and he is the first to admit that he is. He's been pretty transparent about how messed up an individual he is. He actively discourages people from following him on twitter, which is an assured way of gaining followers. He has written about pretty horrific experiences he was forced to witness as a child growing up in Venezuela via two books he's written.
These and some health issues turned him into a reclusive internet researcher. All that aside, what he presents is still majorly insightful.
My opinion is somewhat different. As soon as I discovered a few truths and began talking to friends, I found that anyone using that term conspiracy theory would just shut the discussion down. It drove me bananas and I started researching the how and why.
I finally discovered and read Lance deHaven Smith's "Conspiracy Theory in America" which is a great, academically referenced research piece into the term. The entry point is the discovery of the CIA memo that used the term in relation to a campaign to discredit anyone disputing the findings of the Warren Commission Report. deHaven Smith takes it much further, looking at earlier usage of the term and also the entire concept of crimes against democracy and their covering up.
We are on a difficult road towards truth. Not only do we have 50+ years of Government cover up, secrecy, corruption and crime, we have the bought and paid for attack media and the media brainwashed general population to contend with as well. Then on top of that, we have false truth sources, limited hangout truth providers, fame over truth whores and the list goes on.
My philosophy is to absorb what resonates, ignore what doesn't and build what I believe to be the truth as I see it. Which is why I began blogging about a month or so ago. Very difficult exercise, but I am determined and committed to it. Not trying to be competition to anyone or anything. If I can educate people then that is a good thing.
It this sense it sounds as if you and I are very similar.
