The scary part is I believe they already knew when they began creating the modified food. I spend the extra to make most of my food non gmo and not hormone/antibiotic filled. But it woulnd't surprise me one day to find out they are lying, that despite the extra i pay it has been modified and has the hormones and antibiotics in it.
I try to go to the farmer's market as much as I can. We have a good one here and it's pretty inexpensive. The problem is pollution from cross-pollination.
I saw in the documentary Food inc. that Monsanto actually hires detectives to sneak around farms in the middle of the night that do not buy their seeds from Monsanto. If the plants have been cross pollinated Monsaonto will sue that farmer to put them out of business. Such an evil family.
I saw that too... Truly an evil entity! Now they're hooked up with Bayer- so double the evil!!!
